Saint George and the Dragon


Nike branded sneakers like those worn by this model epitomize the peak of street fashion. Founded in the 1960s and identified by the bold “swoosh” logo, the company established sneakers as not just functional shoes, but fashion symbols. The company is named after the Greek goddess for victory, a corporate strategy to connect the brand to success on the playing field—a connection which has only fueled its iconic status in street culture.
